Permanently straight hair

What is it?
Permanent Hair Straightening removes your wavy curls permanently using chemical treatments to give you Straight flowing hair without using a styler daily. Though there are several ways of doing this, the following 2 steps are integral to this process:
 a. Salons first use a sodium based product on your hair to break the Kertain structure and make it more manageable.
 b. Secondly, an oxidant that helps to neutralize the keratin action is added to set the fibers of your hair in the desired shape.

What is keratin?
Keratin is the natural protein in our Hair. It is also present in our Teeth and Nails. It helps our Hair by keeping it straight and shiny. As the protein content decreases with an unbalanced diet and age, Keratin levels will decrease. Consequently, our hair becomes frizzy, tangled and dry. To get sleek hair we need to replace the protein content in our hair. A treatment based on this process is called “Brazilian Blowout”.

Sasha Pivovarova

Hi! How is the end of Easter?
It's high time I wrote about one more Russian model- Sasha Pivovarova.
When she was an art student, she had no intention of becoming a model. It didn't even come to her mind but her friend and future husband, photographer Igor Vishnyakov, took photos of her in 2005 and gave them to international modeling agency IMG. That was the beginning of her career. After signing with IMG, her first runway show was for Prada, who then signed her to a three-year exclusive advertising contract. Pivovarova has appeared in campaign ads for multiple brands such as Balenciaga, Dior Beauty, Miu Miu, Max Mara, Hugo Boss.
Now, she lives in New York and her house is almost like an art studio. In her leisure time she's keen on drawing as well as painting. Her paintings have been displayed in a gallery in Paris,Mansion Grand in New York, and have been published in French Vogue.

Do you like her look?

Anna was discovered in 2007 at McDonald's. After, she began her international modeling career after signing with a top agency in Paris. At the spring 2008 during shows in Paris, Selezneva debuted on the runways of Dries van Noten, Celine and Akris. Then she walked for all major brands and designers, for instance Alexander Wang, Balmain, Chanel, Christian Dior, Elie Saab, Fendi, Valentino and Versace. She's appeared on th covers of many fashion magazines such as Vogue Paris, Vogue Italia, Vogue Spain, Vogue Russia, Elle, Glamour. According to Vogue Paris, she's one of the top 30 models of the 2000s. She's also ranked as one of the Money Girls by models.com. I need to mention that Selezneva has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and plans to continue her studies as soon as her modeling career slows down.
What do you think about this girl?

Sasha Luss

In this post I'd like to write a bit about one of my favourite models- Sasha Luss. I don't know if you've ever heard about this girl but probably no :)
She is from Russia and from my point of view, Russian models are unbeatable then my next posts will be about other ravishers from this country.
As for Sasha Luss, when she was a child, she wasn't interested in modelling. She prefered to write and dance. She even used to take part in ballet competitions, by the time she suffered an ankle injury which didn't allow her to continue the career. When she was thirteen years old, Sasha was taken by her mother to visit a modelling agency, where she was instantly signed. At the age of fourteen, Luss signed with IQ Models in Moscow. Shortly after turning sixteen years old, she walked in her very first fashion show. She was featured in multiple issues of Vogue Russia and L'Officiel Russia. The charmer walked in 58 fashion shows during the fall/winter 2013 season for some of the world's most prestigious brands such as Prada, Valentino, Calvin Klein and Givenchy. She was even selected as one of the top newcomers of the season by models.com. After some time Luss decided to bleach her hair, which was a significant moment in her career. Her new-found beauty was adored by designers, inspired other models and led her to a huge success which is being still continued.
What do you think about her? Are you impressed by her remarkable beauty?

Berlin Schönefeld Airport

As my previous post was about the best airport in the world, in this one I want to write about the worst airport on the globe and actually, I've had some opportunities to be over there. I mean Berlin Schönefeld which is a tiny airport on the suburbs of the capital city of Germany. According to a survey released by travel website eDreams, the average traveller is much happier wallowing in the horror that is the airport experience of 2017.They prefer the endless array of designer shops at Tel  Aviv’s Ben Gurion to Schönefeld’s two newsagents. They’d rather have the fine dining and cushy chairs of Dallas airport than the choice between Burger King and an Irish pub offered in southern Berlin. For these reasons, respondents rated Schönefeld the worst airport in the world in the survey, giving it a score of 3.17 out of 5 and I fully agree. I would add that toilets are just awful. They are smelly, dirty, there's often no soap and hand driers dont even work.
I'd like to keep away from this airport but unfortunately, it's not possible in my case because I often travel from Copenhagen to Berlin and then to Poznan :)

Singapore Changi Airport

As I'm travelling a lot these days, I've got plenty of opportunities to visit various airports all around the world and I've just discovered that Changi Airport in Singapore is the busiest airport on the globe. It's also considered as the World's Best Airport according to Skytrax( it's a consultancy which runs an airport and airline review and ranking site). Changi Airport serves more than 100 airlines flying to 380 cities in about 90 countries. Every week, around 7,000 flights land or depart from Changi. 58.7 million passengers passed through the airport in 2016. Changi has won over 533 awards since 1981.
I hope to visit this airport one day!

Alena Shiskova

Have you ever thought of having a plastic surgery? These days , more and more people are willing to go under the knife to boost their self-image and feel more comfortable. The majority of them decides to go through one or two surgeries but there are some exceptions. Have you heard about Alena Shiskova? She is a Russian star and she started out her career by taking part in beauty contests. Later, she wanted to become a model and she went to Milan to try her luck but sadely, there was not too much work for her because of her height as well as her doll-like beauty. However, Russian media paid attention to her and she became a celebrity. Currently, she is truly famous and considered the most beautiful girl in the world but she is not the same as before. Lots of things have changed in her look. She isn't keen to talk about all her plastic surgeries but it is said that she'd gone through the following operations:
Breasts job
Nose job
Lip fillers
Cheekbone injections (fillers)
Botox
Veneers on teeth
Possibly other injections which are harder to confirm

What do you think about this change? Was she better before all the surgeries?

Turkey

I've just come back to Poland from Denmark and as usual, I feel like dying :D I can't stand returning here because there are so many significant differences between life in Poland and life in Denmark and obviously, it's much better to be over there but I just need to survive few motnhs untill the end of this University year. Hopefully, I will make it :D
Actually, I've decided to add this post because I'm going to Turkey at the end of April then I'm falling over the moon !! I will spend in Instanbul one week and it will be such a good opportunity to do some sightseeing and take a rest by sunbathing on stunning beaches. Istanbul is famous for multiple mosques which are worth seeing and which attract plenty of tourists from all around the world! Moreover, I can't wait to taste Turkish food and particularly Turkish sweets which I eat very often in Denmark ( unfortunately, I dont think that in Poland it's possible to buy them).
Plus, I am going to go to parties as well to see what nighlife in Istanbul is like but generally, I dont consider myself to be a party-goer and a fun-seeker XD
I hope that this journey will be fabulous and unforgettable !! Of course, I will add a post on my blog about this trip !
Have a nice working week ! :)

How is it going?

Unfortunately, I haven't added any post for such a long period of time then it's high time I did it :) That's the beginning of the second semester and I've already plenty of things to do- lots of homework and different projects for my lessons. I truly hope that this semester will end up as soon as possible. Frankly, I'm sick of taking part in all my classes. At the same time, I am kind of stressed out because of my exams at the end. I want to pass them all before upcoming holidays then I need to do my best and work hard. Moreover, It's probable that next year I will leave Poznan to finish my bachelor's degree in Gdansk and I will choose external studies to live permanently in Denmark and to come back to Poland twice a month for my lessons. I hope to manage to do it:)
And today, it's Friday but for me, it's a free day because my lecturer is ill then I dont have any lesson. I'm so lucky but I need to hurry up to get to the airport on time. I wish you all a good weekend :)

My journey to Portugal

Unfortunately, last Wednesday, I came back from the trip to Portugal. It was magnificent! At the beginning, I spent one day in the capital city - Lisbon. Obviously, the weather was so warm in comparison to dreadfully cold Poland. Palm trees, luxurious hotels...we can find all this on the streets of the city. I managed  to try out portuguese Pasteis de Nata- tiny tarts which people tend to eat for breakfast. It's truly delicious!( I will add one photo of it under my post). The next day, I went to Porto. Actually, it's not far away from the capital city then if you plan to visit Portugal, don't forget about this city. It's well worth seeing! It takes one hour by plane from Lisbon. Honestly, I'm more into Porto than Lisbon but of course, both of the cities are striking! I spent over there two days and the landscapes were breathtaking. Terrific ocean, specific architecture, narrow streets...it's really out of this world. Moreover, people are genuinely nice, kind and willing to help out as long as they speak English:) I hope to come back to this country in the future but for the moment, I am going to visit Iceland in April or in May then I am looking forward!!
Here, I'm adding some photos from my trip.
Have a nice weekend :)

What is up?

Sadely, Christmas break is over and the first semester of the second year at the University is coming to an end but it means that I should start out being worried about my exams which will take place in around two weeks. Luckily, I won't have too many exams but I hope to pass them without retaking so I am truly motivated to study a lot but I am not certain if it will be possible and if I will be able to manage to do it because next weekend I am going to Portugal for the first time then I can't wait and I am thrilled indeed. The weather over there should be much better than in Poland. No snow...it seems to be terrific! At the beginning, I am going to the capital city and after to Porto which is said to be splendid and worth visiting ! I really hope that I wont fail my exams because of the trip !! I will do my best to add some photos from Portugal on my blog! Have a nice weekend!
